About Chef Judy Kancigor and the evenings lecture:

It all started in 1996, when Judy proposed a family cookbook. Eight printings and 11,000 copies later, she was approached by Workman Publishing, who offered to publish a second family cookbook, Cooking Jewish, with more recipes, more stories and over 500 family photos!

"Cooking Jewish" led to a new career as a guest speaker and cooking instructor, and she is a contributing food writer to The Orange County Register and The Jewish Journal.
