Your Child’s Complete Jewish Education

The Goals of Our curriculum:

  • To attain a strong feeling of identity with their heritage and to develop a sense of Love and Pride in being Jewish.
  • Discover and explore the Torah (Bible), the incredible history of the Jewish people and see its wisdom and relevance for all times.
  • Gain an understanding of the practices and traditions of Judaism.
  • Know the morals, values and ethical behavior mandated by the Torah.
  • Hands-on experience and appreciation for all holidays
  • Master the skills of Hebrew reading and writing.
  • Understand basic Hebrew words, emphasizing prayers so that the students will feel comfortable when attending services.
  • Identify with the Land of Israel as their own land and its inhabitants.
  • Allow students to express their opinions and questions about Judaism, G‑d, Torah and religion.

Torah Wisdom / Bible Stories

As the children progress through the years in Hebrew School, they continue to learn more about our illustrious Jewish History and the lessons and wisdom it teaches.

Kindergarten:  The Weekly Torah Portion

1st Grade:       “The Book of Exodus”.

2nd Grade:      The Book of Genesis – “The Bible from Aleph to Taf”

3rd Grade:       “Torah and You” – Lessons from our Forefathers

4th Grade:       “Let’s Learn the Prophets & Writings”

5th Grade:      “Torah Teachers & You” - Jewish Sages through the Ages

6th Grade:      Recent Jewish History; the Holocaust, The State of Israel and Jewish America

7th Grade:      Jewish Ethics & Current Events, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Discovery Course & Bar/Bat Mitzvah Preparation


“Yediat Klalit”  Jewish Values & Holidays


Incentive-Based Jewish knowledge workshops, competitions & choice elective activities

Throughout the school year, Yediat Klalit Sessions will be dedicated to a certain Jewish value or tradition where the classroom is dedicated to that Jewish value.

The Aleph Champ Progam: It’s All In The Colors.

Clearly defined, color-coded levels make it very clear to students where they stand, and what they need to learn in order to advance to the next level. The competition is motivating. The clarity is great for teachers, students and parents. The kids end up practicing at home and begging to be tested!

1. Aleph Champ For Hebrew Reading

Focuses the Students on Hebrew Reading & Writing, guiding them from the basic building blocks of letter recognition through letter/vowel combinations and rule exceptions.

2. Aleph Champ For Jewish Prayers & Songs

Focuses the Students on Performing Prayers from the Synagogue and Torah Services, extending their knowledge of how the Hebrew language operates, including introducing key vocabulary words, while exploring the personal meaning of these Prayers.
