There are many circumstances that bring one to the hospital, whether for a short time or an extended time, there is much room to get lonely. The Mitzvah Society has established relationships with the Champlain at Torrance Memorial Medical Center to help our Jewish friends make this experience more bearable. We can help by visiting a fellow patient and/or delivering lovely "Shabbat to-go" bags especially assembled to make Shabbat in the hospital more friendly.
