NAT ROCKER celebrated his 90th birthday on September 17th. It is only by the will to live by his parents and the righteous gentiles who hid him and his family that he is here to speak to our community.
Nat is from a small village in Eastern Poland called Zparish. He survived the atrocities of the Holocaust by hiding in false walls to avoid the actions of the Nazis during his occupation in the ghetto. His father was taken but miraculously was able to escape from the cattle train on the way to Auschwitz to return to the ghetto to save Nat and his mother and sister and hide until the war came to an end.
