  • JOE ALEXANDER

Born in 1922 in Kowal, Poland, Joe was sent by the Nazis to 12 different
concentration camps, including Dachau and Auschwitz-Birkenau. After the
brutal annihilation of the Warsaw Ghetto in 1943, he was sent from Auschwitz
back to the Ghetto to clean up the destruction's aftermath. Towards the end
of the war, after being shuttled from one death camp to another, the Nazis
forced Joe on one of their infamous death marches, from which very few
survived. Joe will be celebrating his 102nd birthday in November. Come hear
Joe relate his amazing and fascinating story of survival, strength, and
    determination.
