Let's get "sweet cases" for children in foster care.
Get ready to pick up your sleeves, get a little wet. We are going to be washing cars and making a big difference in a child's life!
WHEN: Sunday, November 13, 9:30 a.m.-noon
WHERE: The Jewish Community Center 2108 Vail Ave., Redondo Beach
WHAT: Car wash to buy duffle bags for children in foster care
CAUSE: Help support the emotional and physical needs of foster children
Cteen is partnering with The Mitzvah Society, a project of the JCC, working with Together We Rise to raise money so we can provide South Bay children "sweet cases" as they are coming into care. These duffel bags will be decorated with fun designs and encouragement, filled with pillow pet/stuffed animal, coloring books/crayons, blanket, and hygiene kit that will belong to them and go with them throughout their journey.
